In floor pool cleaner problems.
If your in floor cleaner system is stuck on one zone and is not advancing through other zones like it should you first want to check the pressure and secondly want to inspect the distribution valve.
The most common reason why pool cleaners may not be reaching all areas of the pool during its cleaning cycle is because the return jets are pointing towards the floor of the pool pushing against the direction of the cleaner.
Still no system is immune to parts wear or flow problems.
There are several such as having to remove the cleaner to remove the pool or cleaning the bag or servicing.
A broken pool cleaner means a dirty pool.
Replacement or extensive repair is likely every 5 10 years.
An automatic pool cleaner will likely need more repair and maintenance than an in floor cleaner.
If you do damage may occur over time causing your valve to leak or possible floor nozzle failure.
Make sure all systems are clean and water is flowing only to the valve and not to the spa or wall returns.
Do not exceed over 30 psi on your in floor valve.
The primary purpose of your in floor cleaning sytem is to keep your pool clean.
